GLION アリーナ神戸について
The exterior design expresses the image of ‘Kobe transmitting excitement and excitement and spreading its wings to the world’. The arena, with a capacity of up to 10,000 people, provides a realistic spectator experience. The arena has a restaurant with an open terrace and a VIP floor, which, together with the surrounding TOTTEI park, can be enjoyed before, during and after events.
With the mission of “Raising the heartbeat of the world,” the project aims to create Kobe’s next-generation landmark, combining sports, entertainment, and digital innovation to deliver new surprises and emotional experiences. The arena will serve as a hub for co-creation with various partners, fostering regional revitalization through daily activity in the surrounding area and addressing societal challenges. The initiative also strives to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
The project site is within walking distance of Kobe-Sannomiya Station, a major transportation hub, and offers excellent access to Kobe Airport and Shin-Kobe Station (Shinkansen). It is located in the waterfront area, close to Meriken Park, one of Kobe’s iconic tourist spots. Visitors can enjoy strolling through areas such as Sannomiya, Motomachi Chinatown, and the redeveloping Kobe Waterfront while making their way to the arena.

The indoor arena offers an unparalleled sense of presence, with the largest single-sided LED vision in Asia permanently installed. The powerful sports games, music concerts and other events can be enjoyed with a sense of unity at the venue, creating a ‘just for this moment’ excitement and frenzy.
ICT Infrastructure

The aim is to provide a highly convenient arena experience for visitors even before they arrive, through the construction of dedicated apps and data platforms. In addition, the construction of an ICT infrastructure will improve the circulation from Sannomiya in central Kobe to the Kobe waterfront from the base of the arena.
